  • How do I find my deity?
There are many ways to find your deity, they have guided meditations for this on youtube. Many people believe that rather than you finding your deity, the deity finds you. Make sure you don't limit yourself to one or even two deities. My biggest suggestion is, as always, R&R. Research and Reading. Lisa Chamberlain has a book called Wicca Magical Deities, and I found it very enlighting on this subject. I plan to do a more thorough blog on this later, so keep an eye out!
  • Where can I buy supplies?
There are so many ways to get supplies for your craft. Wal-Mart, eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Sage Goddess, Craigslist. I even get somethings from my local thrift shop! Wicca and Witchcraft are all about using your environment and surroundings to the fullest. When you're looking you never know where you might find something. Also, if you are looking for scented items you can check out Scentsy (Just click on that word), and there is a huge variety of items at a good price.
  • What's moon water used for and how do you make it?
Moon water is used in spells and rituals to cleanse and charge items. It may also be used to water plants, cook, clean the dishes, mop or shower/bathe. Making moon water is a simple process and all you need is the following; a container (mason jars, milk jugs, mixing bowls, anything that will safely contain the water) water, (tap or spring depending on what you're planning to use it for) and any other things you want to add to the mixture. You can add crystals (be careful as water will damage certain ones) salt or even candles. Each of those things will add to the power of the moon water in varying ways. Set the water outside, or on your windowsill, to absorb the rays of the moon. You can leave it out for an hour, or all night, it's up to you. On a side note; it doesn't matter if it's cloudy, rainy or snowing. The water will still absorb the energies!
  • How do you cleanse your crystals?
You can do this many ways! You can sage smudge them, let them sit in water or salt (be careful as water may damage some stones), set them under the full moon or let them soak in the sunlight (beware as the sun will damage certain crystals).
  • How do you find your spirit animal?
In certain spiritual belief systems, like Wicca, the spirit animal is considered a guide and a protector. The best way to find your spirit animal is to think about your personality and characteristics. Are you independent? Do you crave freedom and adventure? Are you prideful? These are all characteristics of the horse, so perhaps you should look into that as your spirit animal. You can also meditate to find your spirit animal (they have guided meditations on YouTube!) You may additionally think about your favorite animals, for example; have you always liked bunnies? Do you feel a connection to eagles? They might just be your spirit animal.
  • What is magic?
That is the question. This was my biggest question, as a beginner. And it's a really good one! Magic is the theory that all things are connected and through that connection, we can manipulate the world around us. Oxford Scholarship said, 'Magic is based on a unique type of consciousness: the awareness of the interrelatedness of all things in the world by means of simple hut refined sense perception' and that is a wonderful description of magic.
